Hi Everybody! That's me - or at least a picture of me, when I was out to Hawaii, away from the shores of Southern California, trying the taste of the BIG life. Yet I hadn't planned to philosophize about life, the universe and everything, especially not the life on Hawaii (even if it would be worth it), but want to tell you about my contribution to the business world - Textile and Fashion Design. But first, it might be a good idea to introduce myself. Here in the States I recently run under the name of Gigi, the American version of my nickname, the real name being (as already mentioned in the title bar) Prapapun Chaiprasert (or Zielke, if you will). I live here in the LA area since some years now - for awhile in the heart of the film industry, Hollywood. Then moved to Sunland, which is not so much in the heart of something but it's just - how shall I say - nicer. Recently I finished up my BA in art at CSUN (California State University of Northridge), and have now carried my workforce to a company down (and out) in Los Angeles Downtown - Fashion-In-Print Inc., which, by the way, does not yet have a web presence, otherwise I would probably linked to their pages. One of the very first things I learned after school was that it really IS true that learning starts AFTER school. I am pretty busy now learning all the new and interesting things I need to get really good at, and the nice thing is that there is a product coming out of this learning. In school I sometimes learned without actually having a goal - this is definitely different now when learning on the job. Being so busy currently, there is probably not too much time to do anything else, but if you have a good challenge in designing a beautiful textile - may be I can be tempted. My acquaintance with a penguin I met at the South Pole and my travels around the world with him was such a challenge. The conversational pieces from this challenge are collected in Pengiun-World. Beside all this business stuff I have a contribution to the internet
community all free and just for the fun of it - if you like to cook, that is: What's for Dinner ? |
And if you are so kind ... I would be glad if you would sign my Guest Book.If your browser does not support forms - not to worry - there are other means to reach me.
For some of the messages that I liked you can take a little look at old guest-book entries. That's it - but before I let you go your way back into the vast reaches of the
internet, there is, amongst others, philosophical thoughts, music, and flying on this
site. Maybe you want to check it out.
