Celestial Winds I (Cover photo)From the CD inlet:
Celestial Winds' debut compact disk is a compilation of music Harp & Recorder, Sweet Dreams, The magical chemistry of these two musicians and their instruments have been capturing the hearts of listeners since it's inception of Venice Beach, California in the summer of 1992. Whether complimenting intimate quiet moments, the soothing of a child, the meditational arts, or healing and recovery, a universal feeling of inner peace and harmony is conveyed through the honesty of this uplifting music. Recorded live at Chameleon Studios March 1, 1994 by Barry Paul and Bobby Petersen in Los Angeles, California, this CD captures the essence of Lisa Franco's extraordinary harp playing and David Young's unique multi-recorder technique, blending alto, tenor, and soprano recorders simultaneously. No overdubs were made, with exception of the mandolin played by Lisa Franco on tracks 4, 8, 11, and 13. All compositions produced and arranged by Celestial Winds.
